Qualification for Executive Committee Chairperson and Vice Chairs

Executive Committee Chairperson

  1. Familiar with and uphold the vision of WCCCC.
  2. Should have attended the Conference for at least 3 years.
  3. Should have served in the Planning Committee.
  4. Should have served in the Executive Committee as a Vice Chair or directly under the former Executive Chairperson.
  5. Should be serving or have served in a leadership role at church/fellowship/Christian ministry/work.
  6. Have strong communication skill (verbal and written).
  7. Have strong analytical and organizational (planning, prioritizing, detail oriented) skills.
  8. Have strong people, management and delegation skills.
  9. Have decision making skills.

Administration Vice Chair

  1. Should have served in the particular department previously or have served as a Vice Chair position in other departments before.
  2. Will assist the Chairperson to recruit vacant Executive Committee positions under the department.
  3. Should have organizational (very detail oriented) skill.
  4. Have people management and delegation skills (able to motivate, delegate responsibility and recruit helpers).
  5. Be conscientious and able to meet deadlines.

Communication Vice Chair

  1. Should have served in the particular department previously or have served as a Vice Chair position in other departments before.
  2. Will assist the Chairperson to recruit vacant Executive Committee positions under the department.
  3. Be flexible with and appreciation for artistic freedom (i.e. aesthetic).
  4. Should be sensitive to the power of words.
  5. Be conscientious and able to meet deadlines.

Publicity Vice Chairs

  1. Should have served in the particular department previously or have served as a Vice Chair position in other departments before.
  2. Will assist the Chairperson to recruit vacant Executive Committee positions under the department.
  3. Should have good time management skill and ability to meet deadlines.
  4. Should have enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
  5. Should have good interpersonal skill (telephone manner and recruitment).
  6. Should have good organizational skill (be able to track the activities).

Student and Young Adult Vice Chairs

  1. Should have served in the particular department previously or have served as a Vice Chair position in other departments before.
  2. Will assist the Chairperson to recruit vacant Executive Committee positions under the department.
  3. Should have a heart/vision for the Young Adult or Student Ministry.
  4. Should have good interpersonal skills (esp. recruitment and follow-through).
  5. Should have people management and delegation skills.
